Founder of the firm, Jean-Charles has been a member of the Monaco Bar since 1988 and has been practising as an Avocat-Défenseur since 1997.
He is a former President of the Monaco Bar Association and a former member of the Bar Council.
Jean-Charles is involved in both advisory and litigation matters. His main areas of practice are business law, family law, civil law, banking and finance law, contract law, private international law and white collar crime.
He holds the following diplomas :

Diploma of Specialised Higher Education, DESS in International Business Law – Foreign Trade (1985), University of Aix-Marseille III, Institut du Droit des Affaires (France) ;

He was a member of the National Council (Parliament) of Monaco and Chairman of the External Relations Committee from February 2003 to February 2013.
He was Chairman of the Monegasque delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and Head of the Monegasque delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. He was elected Vice-President of these two assemblies.
He has also been a member of the Monegasque delegations to the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean and the Euro-Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly (EUROMED) of the Union for the Mediterranean.
Jean-Charles is also a member of the International Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the International Union of Lawyers.
